ADVENTURE FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY
Family Pack 409 brings Cub Scouting to families in King and the surrounding community. Scouts learn by doing—through outdoor adventures, hands-on activities, service, friendship, and time spent together as families.

Every adventure builds skills, confidence, friendships, and memories.
Camping
Sleep under the stars, cook outdoors, and learn skills together.
Pinewood Derby
Build, create, race, and celebrate one of Cub Scouting’s favorite traditions.
Hiking
Explore trails, discover nature, and enjoy the outdoors as a Pack.
Service
Give back to the community through meaningful projects such as Scouting for Food.

SERVICE IN ACTION
SCOUTING FOR FOOD & COMMUNITY SERVICE
Service is part of the Cub Scout experience. Projects such as Scouting for Food help Scouts see that even simple acts of service can make a real difference in their community.

ADULTS HELP MAKE THE ADVENTURE POSSIBLE
Parents and guardians are an important part of Pack 409. Families share experiences, support activities, and help create a welcoming environment where Scouts can learn and grow.
Our leaders follow Scouting America youth-protection and safety requirements, and we encourage families to stay informed and involved.

Unit 409 is one Scouting family. As Cub Scouts grow, they can continue their Scouting journey with Family Troop 409—building on the friendships, confidence, outdoor skills, and leadership they began in the Pack.
